The Dating Sites Wiki (DSW) is a beta-stage collaborative-style community wiki, with 70+ articles (see: sitemap), free to read, write, or contribute encyclopedic information on the over 1,000+ dating/matching sites in operation and related topics therein. Anyone can edit or contribute to the DS wiki (feel free to join).

Overview

The overarching goal of the DS wiki is to write encyclopedic-style dating/matching site oriented articles for each of the numerous dating websites of the world, including prototypes, e.g. WebPersonals (1983), pioneer sites, such as MatchMaker.com (1993), Match.com (1995), FriendFinder (1996), etc., compatibility-pairing sites, e.g. eHarmony (2000), PerfectMatch (2003), free dating sites, e.g. PlentyofFish (2003), etc., science-based matching sites, e.g. eChemistry (2003), Chemistry (2006), as well as those lesser known niche sites, such as GothicMatch (2000), GolfMates (2004), etc., social network dating sites, such as Zoosk (2007), sites pioneering new matching technologies, such as ScientificMatch (2007), and sites in development, such as ReactionMatch (c. 2012).

If you're interested in online dating and matching feel free to join the DS wiki, by clicking the "join this wiki" (sign-up) button, and begin contributing. A good place to start is the list of articles to write or be a quick contributor by add a short review (see below) or even give feed back about sites via the "threads" at the bottom of each article.

Reviews
See main: Dating site reviews, Information sites
Have you used a particular dating site and would like to post a short review? If so, (a) use the "search this site" box to find the site, (b) if the site does not exist (in the DSW) click the "create" this page now button, (c) add the site article to the DSW, (d) type in the review, (e) click save. Other DSW editors will help you format the page after you are done.

You can also type in reviews or comments about particular sites in the threads section below each site article or add reviews as "attachments" (PDF) to each article as a link.
