Personal matchmakingThis is a featured page

In matching theory, personal matchmaking is the process on online dating wherein each user of a site has a personal "individual" matchmaker, i.e. a living person, that guides users into matches. Personal matchmaking is a cross between traditional paid "matchmaker" and an online dating service. The site LoveAccess, for instance, was one of the first sights to begin to employ a one-on-one "personal matchmaking" service, where each user has a personal matchmaker who facilitates the selection of matchees. [1] Typically personal matchmaking costs can range from $200 to $1,000; or up to 10,000 dollars or more (such as was the rate at the now defunct DebraWinkler matching service). [2]
